Dan Cushing, government affairs director at Yamhill Community Care, said the organization serves about 38,000 Medicaid members in Yamhill, Washington, and Polk counties.
“Next year, we’re going to be engaging with [lawmakers] about how to improve the Medicaid model for the next 10 years, and reimagine what CCOs (coordinated care organizations) do and how to take our model to the next level. What should be the outcomes? What should be the regulatory framework for CCOs, as well as the providers we work with?”
