Finding ways to support the healthcare workforce is more important than ever. In this edition of “What They’re Watching,” Jenifer Tertel, regional vice president of human resources for Medical City Healthcare, says part of the solution is increasing clinical capacity to ensure facilities can accommodate every Texan who wants to become a healthcare provider.
“We absolutely have to figure out … how are we going to get additional clinical space and clinical educators and partner with our healthcare organizations. Our hospitals are filled with hospital-prepared nurses and nurses with their doctorates. How do we leverage those individuals to help create that space and that education platform for them?”
