We spoke with Puneet Nayyar, the director of strategy and program innovation at Carelon Behavioral Health, at the 2023 Northern California State of Reform Health Policy Conference, where he highlighted the state’s work to strengthen health exchange and interoperability as a top priority.
“From our perspective at Carelon, we’re looking at both sides of this equation. One is just the regulatory compliance of us being able to provide all of this really actionable data for all the other entities that can use it. But then also [so we can] get access to all of that data, where we can use to be more active and more innovative in our care for the members that we serve in California.”
