
Exchange RFP Issued for In-Person Assister Program – Lead Organization Services
The Washington Health Benefit Exchange announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) to acquire In-Person Assister Program Lead Organization Services.
Please note a change in terminology from “Navigator” to “In-Person Assister.” CCIIO requires that the Exchange clearly distinguish the In-Person Assistance program, and its grant funding, from the Navigator Program. This modification was necessary given all activities and services under this RFP will be funded using In-Person Assistance grant funding.
The release date of the In-Person Assister Lead Organization RFP is March 8, 2013. Responses to the RFP are due Monday, April 22, 2013 no later than 3:00 pm. You can access the RFP here.
All application documents and instructions for submitting a proposal are posted on the exchange website, as well as a timeline of all key dates and deadlines. Instructions contain information on how to submit questions or attend a vendor conference as part of this process.
An optional Vendors Conference by Webinar is scheduled for 10AM Tuesday March 19, 2013. Additionally, there is a mandatory (non-binding) Vendor Letter of Intent that must be submitted to the RFP Coordinator by 3:00PM Friday, March 22, 2013.
