Aaron Katz was the driving force of the University of Washington Legislative Policy Conference

Aaron Katz was the driving force of the University of Washington Legislative Policy Conference, which started in 1988 and ended in 2008. The goal of that conference, to start better conversations about policy, has been the inspiration of the “State of Reform” Health Policy conferences.

Aaron has continued to provide an array of commentary, analysis and thought leadership. Those who care about having high-integrity, high-credibility conversations owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude. At the 2011 Washington “State of Reform” Health Policy Conference, Aaron Katz was awarded with the Health Reform Leadership Award for his tremendous leadership in creating a safe place to discuss health policy.
