AK: Barlett Regional Hospital Announces Interim CEO
With the departure of Christine Harff, Bartlett Regional Hospital’s Board of Directors announced the selection of Jeff Egbert as Interim Chief Executive Officer on Tuesday. This interim appointment, effective October 28, 2013, is expected to be several months while the BRH Board conducts an extensive search for the CEO position.
“We are extremely pleased to bring Mr. Egbert to Juneau as interim CEO for Bartlett Regional Hospital,” Board President Linda Thomas said. “His track record of proven leadership and his collaborative approach to problem solving will be great additions to the leadership structure at our community hospital. We are confident that he will maintain the high quality standards in health care our community has come to expect from Bartlett.”
Mr. Egbert has over 23 years of hospital experience, with 15 years at the CEO level. He served as CEO for three hospitals while employed by Vanguard Health System in Arizona, with the most time spent at Maryvale Hospital.
