Dominick Pallone, Executive Director of the Michigan Association of Health Plans (MAHP), is mainly focused on behavioral health and Medicaid reform at the legislative level through specialty integrated plans (SIPs).
We sat down with Pallone at our 2022 Michigan State of Reform Health Policy Conference to discuss MAHP’s work in the legislature on Senate Bills 597 and 598 and how the package can improve health outcomes for Michiganders.
Pallone said MAHP is “at the table” to work through the many issues and concerns around the SIP legislation with the overall health for the individuals that MAHP’s members serve in mind.
“We truly believe that through an integrated platform financially, operationally, and clinically, we can get better overall health outcomes for the individual.”
