Don Antonucci named CEO of Providence Health Plan

Providence Health Plan (PHP) announced Don Antonucci as chief executive officer (CEO) on Monday.

Antonucci formerly served as senior vice president of growth at Blue Shield of California where he was responsible for strategic initiatives across different commercial and consumer lines of business. Before Blue Shield of California, he served as the president for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Regence BlueShield in Seattle, Washington. 

He also previously served as the chief business officer for 10xHealth, a start-up focused on reducing costs of medical utilization for members through a quality improvement process. 

Antonucci said:

Antonucci has also engaged with State of Reform as a speaker and columnist.
