Primary care providers are eligible to receive $150 for in-person or telehealth visits related to COVID-19 for uninsured individuals living in North Carolina. Providers must practice in North Carolina and be registered through NCTracks, North Carolina’s Medicaid provider platform.
The department is reimbursing providers on a first come, first serve basis up to $7.8 million. The money is available until 2020 or until it runs out, whichever comes first. Claims will be reimbursed retroactively to Sept. 1.
