HCA announces MCOs for North Central ACH
The Health Care Authority has announced the Apparently Successful Bidders for the Integrated Managed Care (IMC) Mid-Adopter RFP.
The three organizations have been selected to serve as the Managed Care Organizations for the North Central Accountable Community of Health.
Molina already has experience as one of the MCOs for Southwest Washington, the first region to move towards fully integrated managed care. Community Health Plan of Washington is the other MCO in Southwest Washington.
The MCOs will be at risk for the full continuum of physical and behavioral health services for Medicaid beneficiaries in Okanagan, Chelan, Douglas, and Grant Counties. The MCOs will enact innovative models to provide whole-person care under the Fully Integrated Managed Care program as part of Healthier Washington.
Contract negotiations are scheduled to begin on July 1, with the two year contract beginning on January 1, 2018.
The MCOs will work closely with the Behavioral Health – Administration Services Organization. The HCA is scheduled to announce Apparently Successful Bidder for the BH-ASO RFP on June 9.
All Washington counties must transition to the FIMC model by 2020.
