Texas Health Resources employs over 25,000 people through fully-owned facilities, consolidated joint ventures, and the Texas Health Physicians Group.
In the survey conducted by Great Place to Work, 97 percent of employees surveyed said Texas Health Resources has great challenges, a great atmosphere, and great rewards. And 99 percent of employees said they had great pride in their workplace.
“Our employees aren’t just the heart of Texas Health Resources – they’re the healing hands and the caring hearts that show compassion. They’re at the center of who we are as an organization,” said Barclay Berdan, CEO of Texas Health Resources. “We have gone to great lengths to develop an unwavering commitment to listening to our employees and bettering ourselves as we go. We know some of the best ideas for Texas Health come from the employees on the front lines and that’s why we put such value in listening and making sure we hear those ideas. We are truly honored by these recognitions because they tell us that our employees understand how important they are to our organization – that they’re appreciated, they’re valued and they’re heard.”
Texas Health Resources was also listed on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For 2017. Last year, they ranked first on Best Workplaces for Diversity, second on Best Workplaces for African Americans, fourth on Best Workplaces for Generation X, and forty-fourth on Best Workplaces for Giving Back.
