Soon after vaccines became available last year, Alaska had one of the highest vaccination rates per capita in the country. However, the latest data from the CDC shows Alaska is in the bottom quarter of states in terms of vaccinations per 100,000.

To figure out why, and how to address these low vaccination rates, State of Reform is hosting a virtual convening with experts on vaccine science and community outreach. Participants will discuss what we’ve learned about vaccine hesitancy in different communities across Alaska, and how to overcome this reluctance.

Joining us for 5 Slides: Overcoming vaccine hesitancy will be Elizabeth Ripley, Chief Executive Officer of Mat-Su Health Foundation, Tracy Foo, MD, Vaccine Medical Director of Pfizer, and Anne Zink, Chief Medical Officer with the State of Alaska.

Join us for this engaging and informative conversation on Jan. 25, 2022. The conversation will be held from 11:30 – 12:30 pm AK. Don’t forget to register ahead of time here.
